"Shell we clean?" is a sustainable cleaning agent brand that uses 100% scallop shells from Aomori and Mutsu Bay. Our worldview is to realize a recycling-oriented life in which "the more we use, the cleaner the earth becomes." To this end, we are committed to thoroughly coexisting with nature, from raw material selection to manufacturing and packaging.
First, scallop shells, which are the main raw materials of the product, are upcycled from what has been discarded in large quantities in the past. By using waste as a new resource, we can achieve both waste reduction and effective use of local resources. In addition, our proprietary technology (patent pending) has succeeded in stably dissolving calcium hydroxide, which is normally insoluble in water, at a concentration of about three times, and has achieved strong sterilization, deodorization, and oil decomposition capabilities.
In addition, since it is made only from mineral water and shells, without any surfactants, chemicals, fragrances, or colorants, wastewater returns to nature and cleans rivers and seas. The packaging uses Shelltech, a new material born from seashells, to reduce CO₂ emissions by up to 36%. We are constantly devising ways to minimize the environmental impact not only on the product itself, but also on the container and distribution.
In product development, we have repeatedly tested the safety of the skin and eyes to pursue quality that can be used with peace of mind even in households with pets and small children. It has also obtained the international Ecocert certification, ensuring both reliability and safety. We want to be a brand that is not just a cleaning agent, but a brand that naturally incorporates "earth-friendly choices" into our daily lives.
