"VitaSnack" was born in Almería, a city in the south of Spain. In 2006, Antonio Ramírez Fajardo, Ph.D. in Bioprocess Engineering at the University of Almería, started a new development project with the theme of innovating agricultural products.
Dr. Fajardo was developing his own dehydration and texturing technology for fresh foods while researching technologies related to natural antioxidants found in fresh foods. By utilizing this technology, they were focused on creating healthy and unique products with amazing flavors and chewy textures.
