Chieko Watanabe
Born in Shari District, Hokkaido. After graduating from university, he joined Taxco Japan Co., Ltd. and became vice president eight years later.
In 1993, he established Cotton House Japan Co., Ltd. in San Antonio, Texas and became its CEO.
In 1993, he was involved in the establishment of the Japan Texas Organic Cotton Association, a non-profit organization, and became vice president seven years later.
In 2009, it was selected by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry as one of the "55 Social Businesses Representing Japan".
In 2010, he was featured in NHK Professional's "Work Style".
In 2011, he established Komoro Eco Village and became its representative director.
In 2011, we started the Tohoku Reconstruction Support Program "Tohoku Grandma's Job Creation".
In 2012, we started the Fukushima Organic Cotton Project.
In 2013, he became a general incorporated association of Waku Waku Nobi no Bie Children's School and became the head of the school.
