Huskee strives for the perfect balance between sustainability, beautiful design, and practicality.
The biggest feature is that coffee husks, a by-product of the coffee industry, are reused as raw materials. It breathes new life into materials that have been discarded until now, creating products with unique textures and functions while reducing environmental impact. In total, 1,048 tons of husks have been reused, and approximately 3.6 million cups have been delivered worldwide.
Huskee is also innovating not only in its products, but also in the way they are used. In the "HuskeeSwap" program, which is in collaboration with cafes around the world, a system has been built that allows you to bring used HuskeeCups to the store and exchange them for new cups that have been washed. This promotes a culture of reuse and creates a system where cafes and users work together to address environmental issues. (*Not introduced in Japan)
In addition, Huskee has obtained "B Corp" certification from the US non-profit organization "B Lab". We meet strict standards for environmental and social considerations, transparency, and accountability, and practice social contribution through our business.
In product development, we incorporate the opinions of baristas and coffee lovers and thoroughly verify the actual usability. Not only does it look good, but it also feels good in your hand, it feels good in your mouth, and it is durable, so we pay attention to every detail to provide you with the best experience.
