The story of That's Amore Cheese begins in 2004 when Giorgio Linganti from Sicily landed in Port Phillip Bay, Australia. In a new world with a different language and culture, what he had in his heart was the passion to deliver real Italian cheese here. A heart that cherishes Italian traditions, family warmth, and the bounty of nature. With these in mind, Giorgio launched his own cheese workshop in just four years, successfully bringing authentic flavors to the people of Australia.
The reason for launching the brand was a deep sympathy for the "power to connect people" that Italian food culture has. Cheese is enjoyed around the table while talking with family and friends. That moment enriches your daily life and warms your heart. We wanted to extend that experience to Australia's diverse community.
Their goal is not just to produce and sell cheese. Make the most of nature's bounty and walk with local communities in a sustainable way. And while preserving tradition, it is to create new value and add color to people's lives through food. It is also because of this desire that we are particular about using a natural manufacturing method that uses fresh milk and buffalo milk from the local state of Victoria and does not add any preservatives, artificial colors, or flavors.
In addition, their workshops and cafes convey the "joy of food" and "the importance of ingredients" through cheese-making experiences, events, and cooking classes. It is also our important mission to work hand in hand with local producers and artisans to aim for a sustainable future. That's Amore Cheese will continue to deliver "beloved tastes" while valuing Italian tradition, Australia's rich nature, and people-to-people connections.
