Kobe Furuwa was born out of the desire to connect a beautiful future to children, who are the treasures of the earth, with thoughts for their descendants seven generations ahead.
While inheriting Umekodo's traditional "scissors" manufacturing method that has been going on since Showa 21, we continue to challenge the status quo. Make sweets beautiful with beautiful products, simple ingredients, and as little additives as possible. Based on this belief, we do not use any food additives such as genetically modified crops, artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colorants, or flavorings, and manufacture only with carefully selected ingredients such as domestic wheat flour, Hokkaido four-leaf butter, Awaji Island algae salt, and Kobe milk.
It has been 150 years since the opening of the Port of Kobe. While inheriting the tradition of Western-style food culture that blossomed with foreign settlements, we want to make the world a free, rich, and peaceful world through food under the slogan "New transmission from Kobe backed by traditional techniques." With this in mind, we continue to create sweets that deliver color and happiness to special times, such as "flowers" that bloom with fruit one by one.
