Founder and CEO of Axiology. I've been vegan since I was 12 years old and have been against animal cruelty for as long as I can remember. After graduating from a school of business administration with the aim of becoming an entrepreneur, he has started two businesses in the wellness industry. Axiology is our third business. In 2013, she became aware of the beauty industry's problem with animal testing and plastic waste, so she started making vegan lipsticks in her small kitchen at home.

We want to eliminate animal testing and plastic waste from the beauty industry.
It is not well known that most of the plastic that goes into the recycle bin is not recycled, but one of the most difficult to recycle is the plastic waste from beauty products. Containers for beauty products, such as caps, pumps and jars, are often made of mixed materials. And almost all of them are too small to be recycled by local authorities. The beauty industry generates 120 billion pieces of packaging waste every year. Most of it ends up in landfills and ends up in the ocean as microplastics. In addition, in the American beauty industry, most cosmetics and body care products are developed through animal testing. That's why I decided to find and support a vegan company that is cruelty-free. However, there are very few cruelty-free and vegan companies that make products only with natural ingredients, and there are some products that use harmful ingredients that are rather eye-opening, and no matter how much I searched, I couldn't find them. What's more, most natural cosmetics on the market didn't satisfy me in terms of performance, such as discomfort or dryness on my lips when I tried vegan lipsticks. So I started making cosmetics in the kitchen for myself. Six months later, I realized that this was what I was looking for, and I decided to turn this into a business. From then on, I worked hard to build Axiology's business model. It took two years to complete a satisfactory product.
Paper packaging made from recycled Bali garbage is 100% plastic-free
Axiology's goal is zero-waste and vegan cosmetics. When it first launched, the product was cruelty-free, vegan, and the tubes were made from 50% recycled plastic collected from consumers. However, tubes are waste that ends up in landfills and oceans. That's why in 2022 we threw away all the plastic used in our products and focused our efforts on combating the huge plastic waste problem in the beauty industry. The product was originally made in New York, but the company moved to Bali to keep costs down. The brightly colored box was born from a chance encounter in Bali. While taking a walk around town, I came across a small paper shop selling very beautiful paper. I was very attracted to it, and when I talked to the shopkeepers, they told me that the beautiful paper producers, who have been making paper for 25 years, wanted to do something about the island's garbage problem, so they started a business and collect waste paper from the island and recycle it by hand in their backyards. We rode our scooters three hours out of town to see them to see them. After a long discussion, they said yes to working with us. That's where Axiology's recycling box came in. This initiative provides stable jobs for women in Bali and contributes to solving the island's garbage problem.

3-in-1 Makeup Balm
Axiology Lip to Lid Balmies
An eco-friendly crayon-shaped makeup balm made with the earth in mind. It also has moisturizing power and can be used anywhere on the face. It has no caps or tubes like traditional lipsticks and has a 100% zero-waste design. All paper used in wrapping and carrying cases is made from recycled or compostable materials. It looks smaller, and the capacity is the same as that of a typical lipstick. It greatly shortens the daily makeup time and combines moisturizing power and color development that is hard to believe is a vegan formula. With a smooth stretch that instantly fits the temperature of the skin, it does not dry out and crumble over time, and you can achieve a stylish "one-tone makeup" with this one. How to use: Apply directly to eyelids, blush and lips. Blend with your fingers as needed. Peel off the paper wrapped around the balm as the balm decreases. When storing or carrying, please keep it in the red carry box. This product is certified by the American non-animal testing certification system PETA. The packaging boxes are handmade from upcycled scrap materials in collaboration with women in Bali.
