Tasting notes
A refreshing and pleasant scent reminiscent of citrus and linden flowers. The mouthfeel is supple, fruity, and mineral. It is a friendly wine that can be easily enjoyed in any situation.
The Côte de Millau is a French AOC wine produced in the Aveyron department, named after the magnificent Bridge Millau, known as the tallest bridge in the world. It is one of the smallest grape regions in France and was recognized as an AOC (Designation of Origin) in 2013.
We continue this tradition and present it as an environmentally conscious and organic wine. The current winery was built in 1992 by Bernard Portalier, and his grandparents have been growing viticulture in the village for generations.

Today, the Domaine du Vieux Noyer is run by Ludovic Bouviala and Eric Portalier. They are central to the AOP Côte de Millau revival, producing high-quality wines with the utmost respect for the environment.
The estate has 32 hectares of vineyards surrounding the Château de Paillard, in the Aveyron region. The vineyards stretch over 400 metres above sea level and are bathed in sunshine on south-facing slopes overlooking the Tarn Valley.
Rooted in clay-calcareous soils and benefiting from abundant sunlight and altitude, the grapes produce wines of exceptional quality.
