The dial was coated with powder (mineral pigments) crushed with sodalite.
Please enjoy the transparent and gentle colors that cannot be produced with ordinary paints and the unique texture of rough rock paints.
The main body is made by a method called "potter's wheel pulling" in Kaga Yamanaka, Ishikawa Prefecture, which has a history of more than 400 years as a lacquerware production area, by applying a halberd (canna) to a rotating tree.
The material is zelkova, the wood grain is beautiful, and the texture is smooth and moist.
The dial is made of Japanese paper made by Mayumi Ishikawa, who makes Japanese paper in Futamata Town, Kanazawa City.
On top of that, "mineral pigments" made by crushing natural stones are applied in layers. The index is gold leaf from Kanazawa.
