I pasted gold leaf on handmade Japanese paper made in Futamata-cho, Kanazawa.
By using Japanese paper (falling water paper) with a linear pattern and applying foil only to the convex parts of the unevenness to make it blurred, the dial has a sense of scenery like the surface of water and clouds.
The technique of placing glue in the shape of a pattern, attaching gold or other foil on it, and then brushing off the excess foil with a brush to create a pattern is called "sliding foil". Enjoy the charm of traditional techniques and materials as part of your interior.
The degree of faintness of the sliding foil is different one by one, and there are individual differences. Thank you for your understanding. The dots (indexes) that indicate the time are black wood base types, black natural mineral pigments, and plain and brown wood backgrounds are bushi silver foil.
■ The color of the wooden part is available in three colors: plain, brown, and black.
■ You can put the original engraving on the back cover. (Charge +880 yen including tax)
■ Since it is a made-to-order production, it basically takes about 2 weeks after ordering. Thank you for your understanding.
