About Nepal
Nepal has an altitude of 70-8,848 meters, and the terrain has changed dramatically over a relatively short distance of 150-250 km, making it unique and rich in flora and fauna.
Nepal is divided into five major topographic zones that stretch from east to west, including the High Himar, High Mountain, Middle Mountain, Siwalik and Terai. The climate varies from the alpine cold and semi-desert type beyond the Himalayas to the tropical and humid type in the Terai lowlands.
Wetland ecosystems are of great ecological importance, with many endangered plants and animals, making them a resting place for globally endangered migratory birds.
Many plants and animals, including 54 species of wild mammals and 18 species of trees, are in danger of extinction.
Birds are one of the most threatened groups in the fauna.
Multiple factors are degrading Nepal's biodiversity.
Examples include the expansion of arable land, the development of infrastructure, habitat degradation, uncontrolled forest fires, grazing, illegal poaching and wildlife trade, human-wildlife conflicts, invasive plant invasions, commercialization of pesticides, improper management, and inadequate governance systems.
The game was designed and produced by Kaji Studios to illustrate Nepal's rich biodiversity, raise awareness of endangered species, and protect the country's rich biodiversity.
Payoo consists of 57 cards, each with 8 symbols on it.
There is always only one matching symbol between two cards.
We will find patterns that are different only in the same shape, the same color, and the size. It may just be a different size.
The objective of the game is to collect as many cards as possible by finding matching images between two cards.
5 ways to play the game
Game 1: Tower
Preparation for the game: Deal each player one card face down. Place the remaining cards face up in the center of the table and make a draw pile.
Objective of the game: to collect the most cards.
Example of a setup 3 player:
Players in the game simultaneously face up their cards to find a single common pattern on both the center card and their own card. When a matching pattern is found, call it immediately. Then place the center card face up on top of your card to create a personal pile. Next, use the new top card in your personal pile to find a card that matches the new middle card. Continue playing until you run out of drawpile cards.
The game wins the player with the most cards.
Game 2: Well
Preparing for the game: Place one card face up in the center of the table. Distribute the remaining cards face down to all players as evenly as possible.
The objective of the game: to lose all the cards in your hand first.
Example of a setup 3 player:
At the same time, the player turns the entire drawpile face up. The first player to find the same mark on both their top and middle cards calls out that mark and places their card on the top of the center pile.
That card will immediately become your new center card. Continue playing until one player runs out of cards.
Game Win: The first player to run out of cards wins.
Game 3: Hot Potatoes
Prepare for the game Deal one card face down to each player. Decide how many rounds you want to do (minimum 5 rounds).
The objective of the game: to have the fewest cards after all rounds have ended.
Example of a setup 4 player player:
At the same time, the card is turned face up. The cards must lie flat on each player's palm. If your card matches the pattern of another player's card, call it and place your card face up on top of the other player's card. If you have more than 2 cards in your hand, look only at the top card to find a matching card. Once you find a matching card, pass all your cards to the matching opponent's player. Continue playing until one player has all the cards. That player loses the round and puts a card in front of him. A new round begins.
At the end of the last round to win the game, the player with the fewest cards in hand wins.
Game 4: Poisoned Gift
Preparation of the game: Each player is dealt one card face down, and the remaining cards are placed face up in the center of the table to form a drawpile.
The objective of the game: to have the fewest number of cards.
Example of a setup 4 player player:
At the same time, the card is turned face up. Players look for matches between the middle card and the other player's cards. When you find a matching card, call it. Then take the middle card and place it on top of the other player's card that matches.
This is a "poisoned gift". Repeat this and continue playing until you run out of cards in the drawpile.
Game Win: The player with the fewest cards wins.
Game 5: Triplet
Preparation for the game: turn all cards face down into a pile. Take the first 9 sheets and place them face up on the table.
The objective of the game: to collect the most cards.
Example play: Players look for the same pattern on three cards at the same time. If all three cards have the same pattern, it will be a matching set. As soon as you find a matching set, call it up. Take 3 cards with matching symbols and replace them with 3 new cards. The game ends when there are no more than 9 cards left and there are no matching 3-card sets.
Game Win: The player with the most cards wins.
