Jin Kitamura
Illustrator and picture book author. Studied art and design at Tokai University's College of Liberal Arts. He specializes in animal paintings drawn with crayons, and has gained popularity for his style that makes use of rubbing and distortion, as well as his skillful modern layout and color scheme. Currently, in addition to producing picture books and holding solo exhibitions, he also works as a part-time lecturer at the Kobe University of Art and Design, where he is committed to fostering young people.
<About the Paper>
It is a high-quality printing paper that achieves both the contradictory properties of good color development and the texture of paper at a high level, and uses the thickest paper of Van Nuovo V-FS, which has also obtained FSC certification*.
* FSC certification evaluates and certifies whether forest management and logging are carried out in consideration of the environment and local communities, and certifies that the product is derived from such forests (products made from appropriately managed forest wood).
