■ Ayurvedic Detox Care
Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of eliminating the waste product "arma" accumulated in the body. To prevent the 'arma' that accumulates on the tongue from returning to the body during sleep, it is important to remove the tongue coating before drinking water or other drinks right after waking up. Start your day gently, easily, and neatly with Ayurvist's tung scraper.
In Ayurveda, copper is considered beneficial to the body and has antibacterial properties, so it has been used in water pitchers, tableware, and even tang scrapers.
Ayurvist tang scrapers are carefully crafted one by one by Indian artisans, and their texture is excellent.
■ What is tongue coating?
It is a white moss-like substance that sticks to the surface of the tongue, similar to skin dirt. Bacteria and the surface layer of the mucous membrane adhere to the tongue, forming a white-looking tongue coating. When the tongue coating thickens, it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria and can trigger bad breath or aspiration pneumonia, so the tongue needs to be cleaned appropriately.
■ Causes of tongue coating buildup
Saliva has a self-cleaning effect that washes away food debris and plaque, and helps suppress the growth of bacteria in the mouth. When the amount of saliva decreases due to fasting, illness, medication side effects, dehydration, stress, aging, and other factors, the factors that cause tongue coating in the mouth increase, making the coating thicker.
[How to Use]
1) Hold both ends of the tang scraper with your hands and put the curved end into your mouth.
2) Gently slide the tongue from the back toward the front about 3~5 times.
3) Gargle and clean the inside of your mouth.
* Please avoid using it by forcefully stroking your tongue or sliding it sideways.
*Please use your child's tongue more gently to avoid forceful strokes, as it is delicate.
