Mamenogi Co., Ltd. was originally born in 2011 as a "Maya Vinik Fair Trade Coffee Online Shop". Originally, Representative Sugiyama became involved with the Maya Vinic Producers' Cooperative Association as a Fair Trade Project, which he belonged to when he was a student. After that, we became independent and continued to import with the cooperation of domestic mid-sized roasters.
For two years from 2013, the harvest volume declined sharply, partly due to the influence of coffee rust disease, a disease in which coffee leaves wither and fall off and photosynthesis cannot be produced, and for a time it became a phantom coffee in Japan, but after a difficult time for producers, imports resumed again in September 2015. After another year, in 2016 we were able to sell enough beans.
This time, we will carefully select the best beans among Maya Viniks and sell them as "Café Organico".
"Pesticide-free and chemical-free coffee beans"
In Mexico, where Maya vinic coffee is grown, organic coffee cultivation is flourishing.
Maya vinyl coffee is also pesticide-free and chemical-free, and is carefully grown by Mayan indigenous makers.
< About Coffee-Producing Regions of Mexico>
Mexico is one of Central America's leading coffee-producing regions. We are involved in the import of green coffee beans from Mexico. Mexican coffee has an elegant flavor with a hint of sweetness in a soft acidity, has a high aroma, and is very easy to drink, making it a coffee that anyone can understand. Like our coffee beans, Mexico is also a production area that focuses on the cultivation of organic coffee beans. 60% of the world's organic coffee is made in Mexico.
"Coffee making by order roasting by Mr./Ms. Matsuya Coffee Shop"
Founded in Taisho 7, we ask Mr./Ms. of Matsuya Coffee Shop in Toranomon, Tokyo to roast. The key to roasting at Matsuya Coffee Shop is "steamed roasting". Then, immediately after baking, the roasted beans are quenched by "certain actions" (trade secrets). As a result, the roasted beans are plump and retain their high aroma when they are sent to the customer. The long-established roasting technology, which has a sense of stability and emphasizes "beautiful acid", is finished in beautiful coffee beans.
