■About the Sumatran rhinoceros
The Sumatran rhinoceros is found in parts of Southeast Asia, including Sumatra, Indonesia, the foothills of Bhutan, Northeast India, southern China, Cambodia, and Borneo.
They live in tropical dense forests in the lowlands and highlands, adapting very well to life there, especially preferring areas with abundant food resources, such as shrubs, fruits, tree shoots, leaves and roots.
The Sumatran rhinoceros is the smallest living rhinoceros and the only rhinoceros in Asia with two horns.
Their body is covered with sparse hair all over and has reddish-brown skin.
