Journal Foods Series [vol.1]
A ready-to-make gentle curry with vegetables and spices
-----------------------------------
The theme of the first issue is the familiar "curry". Along with the story of food, we will bring you ingredients that are easy to make.
(*This booklet contains 4 servings of a plant-based curry handmade kit)
As the title suggests, it is a "brandt-based curry roux" that does not use meat, fish, or fat.
A simple dish that can be completed by throwing in the ingredients and simmering. Still, if you have a partner to behave, curry is a versatile dish that will almost certainly please both men and women of all ages.
I've been eating such curry with a commercially available roux, and I've felt that my stomach is a little upset.
When you try to wash the dishes after eating, the oil will be slimy and difficult to remove if you just wash it with water.
When I checked the ingredients of the roux, I found that animal lard was the main ingredient. Not spices and vegetables....
When I learned about this, I thought that there might be a curry roux that we could make because we are dealing with special vegetables.
[If there are no animal ingredients, there is no stomach upset, and it is easy to wash]
There is a belief that animals are not actively eaten for religious reasons, health reasons, or because they do not cause emotional distress to animals.
I had mixed feelings when I learned that animals were dying in pain and fear.
Isn't it time to take a fresh look at the existence of meat, which is a natural part of our diet? And.
I would be grateful if it was served, but I am less likely to actively eat animal meat of my own volition.
Now, in product development, we replace all animal ingredients with vegetable and grain raw materials... We continued to work steadily.
Various vegetables and grains are processed into powders and combined, and blended with multiple spices and rock salt, taking into account the taste and medicinal characteristics of each crop.
Thus, we finally have a plant-based curry roux that does not use any animal ingredients, does not upset the stomach (in fact, it improves the stomach and intestines), and makes it easier to wash dishes.
The raw materials are pesticide-free and fertilizer-free vegetables carefully grown in our own garden at the foot of Mt. Fuji.
