FANO is a fan designed using recycled paper from origami cranes donated to Hiroshima.
A thousand cranes are delivered not only from Japan but also from all over the world.
We hope that the origami cranes that have been reborn as FANO will bring the wind of peace to the world.
Based on the concept of "making art accessible," ONART Ver. was created in support of the "100 ART Notebooks" project of "100 ART Notebooks" drawn by 100 artists selected through an open call to color their lives, which is implemented by ONART, a project that disseminates places and opportunities for artists to play an active role to the world.
The fan part is made of recycled paper for origami cranes, and the material of the fastener that secures the handle part and the handle string is thinned cypress wood. The side is engraved with FANO. It comes with a package made of the same origami crane recycled paper as the fan part.
