Prohibitions
● When sauna, please do not use this wood stove other than our sauna room tent. As a general rule, please use only the sauna room tent manufactured by our company for the purpose of performing a simple sauna. Please refrain from using it for any other purpose, permanently, or in any other room or tent. If you want to install a stove in our tent to enjoy the sauna, please be sure to read the "How to use the sauna and the rules to be observed when using it" carefully and comply with all the contents of the description before use. Installation location, weather, installation method ● Please check in advance whether the installation place is a place where you can use the stove.
● Be sure to use the stove outdoors.
● Do not use the stove on rainy, snowy, windy, low-pressure or similar forecasts.
● If the weather deteriorates, stop using it immediately.
● As a general rule, please refrain from using it at night.
● Install the stove in a place where it does not tilt, and straighten the chimney of the stove.
● Before heating the stove, check whether there are any damaged spots on the stove, whether the chimney is firmly connected, and whether there are any loose chimney connections. Damage or a poor chimney connection can lead to unexpected accidents. Please check carefully in advance.
● Before using the stove, remove soot and dust from the inside of the chimney before use.
● Start with no flammable objects near the stove.
● Do not place flammable liquids or batteries, highly flammable items, or heat-sensitive items near the stove. ● If there is something flammable or meltable near the stove, it may ignite and cause a fire. If a gas can is placed, the pressure inside the can will increase due to heat, and there is a risk of explosion. Do not place flammable or explosive hazards near the stove.
● Fallen leaves and grass under the stove may burn due to the radiant heat emitted from the main unit. Do not use it on wooden decks, lawns, fallen leaves, or other flammable places. If you are concerned about damage to the ground under the stove, be sure to lay a thick heat-resistant sheet or a non-combustible board in addition to the included heat-resistant sheet. Be sure to fold the two heat-resistant sheets that come with it in half and lay them on the ground under the stove. Please refrain from using it without laying it down.
● Install the product in a place where there are no flammable objects within 3 m of the chimney outlet.
● Tents and tarps can melt due to sparks emitted from the chimney. Start with no flammable objects around the tent.
● If the height of the chimney is not ensured correctly, there may be no updraft and smoke may flow back. Be sure to use all chimney parts at a length that is firmly connected.
● Please do not use it alone with children. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
● Be sure to wear gloves when assembling. Doing so may result in injury.
● When handling the main body, use gloves (flame retardant gloves, etc.) and use tongs. Doing so may result in injury or burns.
● Check the fire extinguishing equipment near the installation site in advance. If you do not have fire extinguishing equipment, please always have at least 2 liters of water in a bucket in advance.
Beware of burns and fires
● The stove itself is very hot, so if the chimney outside the tent is too close to or sticks to the fabric of the tent, it will catch fire. Please use it at a distance of more than a certain amount.
● If there is a defect in the contact prevention equipment, it may ignite from there as well. During the use of the stove, the combustion chamber or chimney becomes very hot. Try not to touch it by mistake.
● Turn on the stove and do not go to bed while the stove is burning.
● Do not use this product to dry clothes.
● Check the fire extinguishing equipment near the installation site in advance. If you do not have fire extinguishing equipment, please always have at least 2 liters of water in a bucket in advance.
Heating, burning, and adjusting the fire
● Do not use firewood from coniferous trees. Never use anything other than well-dried hardwood firewood. ● Do not use gas or flammable materials when heating the stove.
● When igniting, prepare hardwood firewood, throw a thin object into the stove, and ignite. As soon as it ignites, close the stove door and lock it securely.
● Be sure to wear heat-resistant gloves to prevent burns when opening and closing the stove when igniting, after turning on the stove, when adding firewood, etc., or when touching the stove when cleaning up the stove.
● Be sure to keep the stove door closed. If you open it with firewood, try to keep the opening time as short as possible. If the door is opened for a long time, carbon monoxide and smoke may flow back.
● Be careful of carbon monoxide and smoke backflow while black smoke or white smoke is emitted from the chimney of the wood stove, such as after burning or adding new firewood.
● If the combustion of the stove is weakened, or a large amount of firewood is added at once, and smoke reflux occurs, pay attention to carbon monoxide and smoke backflow.
● Do not put too much firewood in the stove or put a large amount of firewood in at once. Incomplete combustion will result in carbon monoxide generation and smoke backflow. The appropriate amount is about half of the stove combustion chamber, but please adjust it appropriately. ● When the stove warms up, the chimney effect creates an updraft, but immediately after heating, the smoke tends to flow back, so be careful of carbon monoxide and smoke backflow until the fire is completely lit. After heating, check the inside of the stove regularly.
● As a general rule, use the air supply port of the stove fully open. Always use the stove with the air supply port fully open immediately after heating until the firewood burns well. In particular, if there is firewood that is not burned, incomplete combustion is likely to occur if the air supply port is closed. Please be careful.
● When using a wood stove for the first time, do not place it on a baking sheet such as a sauna stone until the smell and smoke are no longer emitted for about 1 hour. Since the paint is not completely burned, odors and smoke are generated from the surface of the stove. In that case, do not install it in a dedicated sauna room tent, but be sure to perform temporary combustion (air burning) outdoors.
● If you fill the stove with too much firewood, the airflow will deteriorate, which will lead to smoke backflow and incomplete combustion (carbon monoxide generation). In order to prevent incomplete combustion, be sure to check the inside of the stove once every 10~15 minutes.
● The temporary red-hot heat of the stove during combustion is a sign of excessive combustion due to too much fuel or air. Even if the fuel and air are regulated correctly, the surface of the stove may become red-hot partially and temporarily. In most cases, it disappears quickly, but if it continues to be red-hot or the chimney is red-hot, it is a sign of over-combustion. Do not throw in any more firewood.
● The stove gets very hot and takes a long time to cool down. When cleaning up, leave it for at least 2~3 hours, and make sure that it has cooled down sufficiently before cleaning up.
● Never dispose of ash left on the stove in nature. It does not decompose and leads to environmental destruction. Dispose of it in accordance with the arrangement of the place where the stove was used.
maintenance
● When tidying up, be sure to wait until the stove or sauna stone has cooled down sufficiently. Stoves and sauna stones get very hot and take a long time to cool down. When cleaning up, leave it for at least 2~3 hours, and make sure that it has cooled down sufficiently before cleaning up.
● When assembling or cleaning up, be sure to wear gloves.
● Remove soot from the inside of the chimney and stove using a brush.
● When washing with water, use a soft sponge and dry thoroughly after washing.
● Do not use metal abrasives, files, or papering.
● If the chimney is difficult to remove after use, apply oil spray to the gap after the chimney has cooled, and wipe it well after removing it. "Anti-seizure heat-resistant lubricant" may be used to make it easier to remove the chimney, but there is a possibility of ignition. It is very dangerous and should never be used
● The top plate will always be distorted. There will always be some floating, but there is no problem in using it. Thank you for your understanding.
● After use, it will be discolored by heat. There is no going back. The printed part will also be discolored by heat. There is no going back. Thank you for your understanding.
● In order to make it easier to remove the chimney, there are cases where "anti-seizure heat-resistant lubricant" is used at the chimney joints, but please do not use it because it may catch fire if it is used repeatedly.
● When using for the first time, perform temporary combustion (air burning) outdoors for about 1 hour until no smell or smoke is generated.
