About leather
This gentle expression is made by extracting the dye from the apricot tree at the Sarashina Kaori Workshop in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, putting the apricot seeds inside and tie-dyeing it with the image of flowers blooming.
Chikuma City is the second largest producer of apricots in Japan and is a specialty. It is dyed in the same Chikuma City and commercialized in Chikuma City, which is part of the activities of the Shinshu Ethical Project.
Deer leather is so supple, light, and durable that it is originally called leather cashmere, so the softness that clings to it is comfortable to the touch and makes you feel comfortable that you can't think of as leather.
Since it is leather grown in the nature of Nagano, please note that there may be scratches on the branches. For that reason, I feel grateful for the blessings of the earth and process it as a product.
* Apricot-dyed tie-dye has a different pattern and color, and the photo is an image.
The cowhide used for the interior is tanned leather in Himeji, and the shrink-processed (kneaded) leather is soft and goes well with deer leather. Deer leather is a by-product of local production for local consumption, but cowhide is also a by-product of meat.
