With that in mind, specialty coffee from the coffee stand "Doors Coffee Roastery" in Kasakicho, Kyoto, and the microbrewery "Kototo Beer" in Kizugawa City collaborated to create the outdoor-only beer "Tobira"! Camping food is centered on cooking outdoor spices and savory grills. In order to match such dishes, we luxuriously used the original blend "Door", which is popular for its refreshing taste even in Doors' specialty coffee. ■ Producers' voices We fully inject our commitment as a coffee shop into beer making, and use Doors' specialty coffee in three processes by grinding it in different ways. While a typical stout (dark beer) uses roasted barley (chocolate malt), it has a strong weight and a dry, bitter taste, but Tobira does not use chocolate malt and sticks to the beans to maximize the flavor and color of the coffee.
