Reprint of the early 1900 model from the Louis Fagran Archives: Round 8 vis The design with a vis motif on a small 14mm round cufflink is known as Louis Fagrain's signature model. The impetus for incorporating the vis (screw), which became a motif representing the Industrial Revolution and the airship, into fashion was inspired by the Ferris wheel "Grand Rue de Paris" built for the Paris Exposition in 1900. The design created by softly arranging industrial materials is a gem that emits a French scent. Originating in France, Louis Fagran has been making accessories for many well-known brands since its establishment in 1899. We select the best from the archive of the vintage collection and produce reprint models and modern evolved models. It is a collection unique to the brand, which has been working as a metal craftsman since the Industrial Revolution in the early 1900s and as a master of guilloche and diamond cutting.
