[An object for book lovers made by a bookbinder] Kabao's cube_ A special feeling with different letters (acrylic 28×28×28mm) sizeEngraved (TFM.)
NO-002 Kabao's Cube _ An Object To Find Your Own Story
A reconstruction of a book in which "paper that was supposed to be a book" is crushed into letter units and enclosed in transparent acrylic.
As an interior decoration on a desk in the study or as a paperweight.
▶ The contents of the "Kabao Cube" are "paper that was supposed to be a book".
Letters that cannot be turned into books and are discarded are printed.
This "paper that was supposed to be a book" that was produced every day at our bookbinding factory was crushed into pieces and trapped.
If you look into it, you can barely see a single letter, or you can't see it.
When the letters that had meaning in the book fell apart, we looked at them and said,
You may create another new story or idea.
▶ Collaboration between manufacturing companies across industries.
Two materials that I had never encountered before: the "paper that was supposed to be a book" from a bookbinder and the transparent "acrylic" from an acrylic shop. The mixture of the two created this cube.
By partnering not only with our own company but also with manufacturing companies that transcend industries, we will create products with new ideas.
This is the method of "Tekito Forme" manufacturing.
▶ Peephole package.
Due to the manufacturing method, no two cubes are the same.
When choosing your own "Bag's Cube", it is not interesting if you can see everything.
If I had to choose, I would like to scrutinize it, I want to be excited, and I want to cherish the encounter.
But if you can't see anything, you don't have a crush.
Therefore, we created a "peephole" in the package.
It is a once-in-a-lifetime thought that you will cherish the inspiration that arises only for you at that time, which is born from the letters you suddenly encounter.
