1. The Origin of Maya Vinyl Coffee and Mamenogi Co., Ltd.
Sugiyama (currently the CEO), who founded Mamenogi Co., Ltd., participated in the "Fair Trade Project" in the laboratory to which he belonged when he was a student, and his involvement with the Maya Vinic Producers' Cooperative Association began. After graduating from Sugiyama, coffee sales began in earnest in 2011 as a Maya Vinyl Coffee specialty store under the trade name "Maya Vinyl Fair Trade Coffee Online Shop". After becoming independent, with the cooperation of various roasters in Japan, we started importing from the Mexican Maya Vinik Producers' Cooperative in accordance with the rules of Fair Trade (FLO). In 2013, the harvest plummeted due to coffee rust disease, a disease in which coffee leaves wither and fall and cannot photosynthesize, preventing coffee fruits from growing. At one point, Maya Vinic Coffee became a "phantom coffee" in Japan, but after overcoming difficult times for producers, imports will begin again in September 2015. Since then, we have been practicing fair trade continuously without interruption. Among the excellent coffee beans grown by the Maya Vinic Producers' Cooperative, we specialize in and import beans of particularly high quality (Enropean Grade).

About Coffee Producing Regions Mexico
Mexico is one of Central America's leading coffee-producing regions.
We are involved in the import of green coffee beans from Mexico.
Mexican coffee has an elegant flavor with a hint of sweetness in a soft acidity, has a high aroma, and is very easy to drink, making it a coffee that anyone can understand.
Like our coffee beans, Mexico is also a production area that focuses on the cultivation of organic coffee beans.
60% of the world's organic coffee is made in Mexico.
Skilled roasting technique by Mr./Ms. Matsuya Coffee Shop
Founded in Taisho 7, we ask Mr./Ms. of Matsuya Coffee Shop in Toranomon, Tokyo to roast.
The key to roasting at Matsuya Coffee Shop is "steamed roasting". Then, immediately after baking, the roasted beans are quenched by "certain actions" (trade secrets). As a result, the roasted beans are plump and retain their high aroma when they are sent to the customer. The long-established roasting technology, which has a sense of stability and emphasizes "beautiful acid", is finished in beautiful coffee beans.
