(1) Essential amino acids (including all 9 types that cannot be synthesized by the human body) "Essential Amino Acids" cannot be synthesized by the human body, so they are amino acids that must be ingested from the diet and are essential for maintaining health, growth, and repairing muscles and organs. European crickets (Acheta domesticus) are known as a high-quality protein source that contains a good balance of all nine essential amino acids. In particular, it features:  Amino acid score: almost 100  Absorption rate equivalent to animal protein  High in leucine, isoleucine, valine (BCAAs) → Excellent for muscle maintenance  Rich in amino acids related to the nervous system, such as tryptophan and phenylalanine. For this reason, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and WHO also evaluate that "insects can be classified as complete proteins." (2) Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids (comparable to fish) "Essential Amino Acids" are amino acids that cannot be synthesized by the human body and must be ingested from the diet. It is essential for maintaining health, growth, and repairing muscles and organs. (3) Micronutrients such as iron, zinc, calcium, and B vitamins European crickets also have a higher content of these nutrients than meat, eggs, and milk. (4) Very low environmental impact WHO and FAO are promoting "food resources with low environmental burden" from the perspective of food security. Insects are extremely efficient in the following ways:  The amount of feed required to obtain the same amount of protein is about one-sixth of that of a cow  Very low water usage  Extremely low greenhouse gas emissions (about 1/100th of that of cows)  Small breeding space, urban and indoor production is possible For this reason, insect food is evaluated as effective in both global warming countermeasures and food security. Our contract farms use only the highest quality Finnish feed, with organic oats, barley, corn, rapeseed meal and a mixed vitamin and mineral feed. We also only feed crickets with very pure water that has been specially purified and adjusted.
