Something that can be worn for a long time and is comfortable to wear
The comfort born from the politeness unique to Japan is uniquely mixed with the details and durability from the U.S.A vintage, the expression and color of the fabric from the European vintage, and the three cultures.
In addition to the comfort of being a children's clothing company, the experience of the co-founder, who is a former buyer of second-hand clothing, makes it with a completely original recipe that combines vintage 1950s ~ 60s and modern methods.
From vintage, the unique surface of old clothes, the way they rub, the fading, and the unevenness caused by the unevenness of the yarn itself, which are no longer made in modern times, are reproduced by specifying the number and combination of uneven cotton yarns and knitting the fabric with an old-style knitting machine to recreate the unique atmosphere of the time.
In addition, we use methods that are not often seen in modern times, such as sturdiness and thickness of reinforcement because it was a time when it was customary.
However, we are not trying to recreate everything that was done at that time. Even in modern things, we use parts that we think are better. For example, choose a double-opening type of fastener that has unbreakable reliability and convenience.
As for the fabric setting, the vintage T-shirt fabric is thin, but I want to give it a more solid hand-held feeling, so I made it thicker. The elasticity should also be softer, and if washed, the stretch will return and the shape will remain stable.
Vintage sweatshirts don't stretch well and feel stiff, but we wanted a more plump, soft texture. The back side is not brushed, and the loop is finished to keep it soft.
Rather than completely reproducing the things of the time, we cherish the good details and textures of the past, while also incorporating the good parts of modern times, giving it the elegance and hand-knitting feel of knitwear.
