The developer grew up in Bangkok, Thailand for 15 years.
Having grown up eating Thai food since childhood, Nam Pla is a familiar taste of home.
Nampla is a seasoning that has a strong umami and salty taste of fish and can add umami and richness to dishes.
However, there are many people who say that they don't like the smell that is too strong, and we were not good at that smell either.
If that is the case, if we improve the strong smell and develop a product that emphasizes umami, people who feel the same way will be pleased!
That was the trigger for product development.
The FISH SAUCE started planning in May 2020.
We visited more than 30 companies for development, and based on the advice of partner companies and more than 10 culinary researchers, we made prototypes.
Finally, a convincing one was completed and released in August 2022.
