We want to use discarded PET bottles to protect the rich marine environment.
In Japan alone, about 23 billion PET bottles are consumed annually. Many people recycle used PET bottles, but 2.6 billion PET bottles are not recycled and end up in garbage. Plastic bottles that have become garbage are exposed to rain and wind and end up in the sea. However, PET bottles, which cannot be returned to nature, pollute the ocean, have a negative impact on ecosystems, and cause environmental destruction. Even if the sea looks beautiful at first glance, there is a lot of garbage on the seabed, and the rich marine environment is about to collapse. And it threatens our lives as well.
In order to stop such a situation as much as possible, we started RE:PET PRODUCTS as an initiative that only a rain goods manufacturer can do.
It may be a very small thing for us to collect PET bottles and use them as recycled fabrics, but we believe that if we can take a step toward reducing marine waste, protecting ecosystems, and curbing global warming, it will lead to kindness to people and the earth.
