Who are supporting us?
The desire to restore clean oceans
The Portuguese sea can be said to be the identity of the Portuguese machine shop Lemar. Born from there, I was impressed by the splendor of the colorful striped cloth that has been made and woven for more than 80 years, and I started importing and selling Lemar fabric.
Now, marine plastic pollution is a problem in the ocean.
Lemar's answer is to change what we can do. That was the development of the environmentally friendly cloth [UPCYCLING MARINE PLASTIC" SEAQUAL FABRIC]. Taking this as an opportunity, I want to spread this wonderful cloth in an easy-to-understand manner, and I want to clean the ocean with the work I am involved in, and the brand that was born from that desire is "PORTRUNKS".
To high-quality 100% post-consumer recycled polyester yarn
Every year, 12 million tons of plastic "waste" end up in the ocean, having a huge impact on marine ecosystems and the environment. It is estimated that 75% of marine plastic waste is on the seabed and 25% is on the surface of the ocean.
Marine debris discharged from coasts, seabeds, sea surfaces, rivers, estuaries, etc., is collected by cleanup programs and sorted by material.
THE SELECTED PLASTIC PARTS ARE CLEANED AND CONVERTED INTO UPCYCLING MARINE PLASTIC AND THEN ECO-YARN (SEAQUAL®YARN), WHICH IS RARE IN THE WORLD.
Commitment to the product
A bag that does not waste fabric and helps the sea
We have made a bag with an attractive striped pattern with colorful lines with [UPCYCLING MARINE PLASTIC" SEAQUAL®FABRIC"], which collects and sorts marine debris. The two simple Marche bags [MARINE] and [BEACH] are large and small in different sizes.
Due to its shape, the arched handle part of the Marche bag remains as a large hagire after cutting, and is usually discarded. [PARASOL] and [FLOAT] made effective use of that part. It is one of the efforts to avoid wasting even a little dough.
Many of you may be interested in environmental pollution but don't know where to start, but just by using this bag, you can not only avoid getting plastic bags from the supermarket, but you can also participate in activities to reduce marine waste.
To all those who aim for a good future and enjoy the present...
"I love the sea and I like fashion, but when I think about the future, I feel that I need to be conscious of choosing things." Such adults are the target. The basic navy is popular because it is easy for men to hold.
Plastic waste has overflowed into the world's oceans. It is even said that by 2050, the amount of plastic waste will be greater than fish. We live in an era where it is essential to protect a sustainable society and the earth, and to think and act. By using bags from PORTRUNKS, you are one step closer to solving the problem of marine pollution.
