The COLOR STORY
The plains of Osteren in southern Sweden, where Cink was born, are also in October.
It gets much colder.
The narrow, and slightly dusty country road converges from the steel-gray sea = OCEAN.
Continuing to the vast field of rye = RYE, which is waiting for harvest, trucks carrying harvested beets = BEET and various agricultural crops drive along the country road.
When fog = FOG begins to hang over this familiar sight, we are in a small brick
= Return to BRICK's cottage and spend a peaceful time in front of the fireplace with a wine glass in one hand and a sofa in hand.
When you close your eyes, don't you see the beautiful great plains of Osteren in front of you? Cink was inspired by this nature. Enjoy the Swedish nature with Cink's products
The MATERIAL
Since its inception, the brand has operated as a brand that values the future of small families, but from 2022, the tableware has been renewed with a change of production country and new bio-based materials.
Tableware is produced in a family-owned factory in a small village in Sweden. Sourcing from within a 65 km radius of the factory, it is made of Swedish wood fibre and is very locally made.
The wood fibers are FSC® or PEFC certified, from wood from responsibly managed sources, and are made from thinned wood and skins that are too small to be used in sawmills.
Bio-based polypropylene is added to the wood fibers. It is a safe material that is used in tableware these days.
Not only is this material recyclable, but it's also durable, so it's hard to crack and can be washed in the dishwasher (top recommended).
The packaging is also designed to minimize the amount of waste generated by consumers.
