Gi by OGATORE is a brand that hopes that more people around the world will be able to love themselves.
Under the theme of "Let's take care of ourselves 10 years from now", we will stick to domestic manufacturing and high quality, and provide products that go well with stretching.
I want to solve "physical disorders and troubles" with stretching.
I'm Ryunosuke Ogata, aka Ogatore, the brand owner.
I am from Kesennuma City, Miyagi Prefecture, and I have a national qualification as a physical therapist and have been engaged in rehabilitation at hospitals and facilities for 8 years. Kesennuma City, located along the coast of Tohoku, is very rural and does not have a robust medical system. I have seen many people who are in trouble because the hospital is too far away, or who are waiting until the evening because there are not enough hospitals.
Many "physical disorders and troubles" are caused by the hardness of the body. In fact, there are many things that can be managed without going to the hospital.
When you feel a little uncomfortable, you can reduce the pain and improve your posture by stretching yourself.
If stretching at home becomes commonplace, it will be possible to help not only the patients in front of you, but also those who are suffering from physical ailments and troubles in rural areas across the country. With that in mind, I quit my job at the hospital and started distributing videos on YouTube, which can be transmitted to the whole country, with the goal of "reducing the number of people who are in trouble with their stiff bodies to zero."
It has now become the largest stretch channel in the country with over 1 million subscribers.
The value of valuing your body = I want self-love to spread more widely in society
Through stretching, the number of people who value themselves (self-love) increases, the circle expands, and everyone becomes healthier. It doesn't get much nicer than this.
As a brand that supports and spreads everyone's self-love, we launched "Gi" with the liken of self-love to the word "Gi" and continue to this day.
