I love Japan culture. I was born in Sakai City, Osaka, and there was a traditional festival in my hometown that has been going on for a long time. I participated in festivals from an early age and grew up in an environment full of local culture. However, due to the passage of time, the number of people interested in the festival is decreasing, and the number of participants is decreasing. This trend is not limited to local festivals, but the influx of cultures from other countries has flourished throughout Japan.
I feel that Japan's unique culture is declining. Japan has a wonderful culture that is not inferior to other countries. My hope is that more people will realize this and that more people will be interested in Japan culture.
After graduating from a design university, I started working as a furniture maker.
On top of that, we have developed furniture that is often incorporated into modern life and furniture that makes you feel "somehow Japan" through the power of design.
