We provide natural honey that is good for the body and strive to help everyone live a healthy life Mr./Ms. no matter where they are in the world. We are also committed to the conservation and protection of resources under the mission of "being the best protector of bees, the environment, and the planet."

The TORU brand has grown and blossomed amid the coronavirus lockdown. At a time when we were worried about the safety of our family and friends around the world, and worried about the planet and its future, we wanted to support and share the message of hope and renewed kindness that has sprung up in our local community.

We live in rural New Zealand and are fortunate enough to produce and have access to food that naturally keeps us healthy. We believe that access to high-quality nutritional food should be a fundamental right for all people.

Many consumers are concerned about food safety and want to know where and how the food was produced, as well as what environmental and social factors affect food safety and health. New Zealand is in a unique position to produce naturally grown food that tastes optimal and has positive health benefits. We are proud of our food history and want to share this story with Mr./Ms..

What are we doing?
TORU "Toru" means the number 3 in the Maori language.
The product depicts three bees, which represent three of their values: to be healthy, caring and honest with our planet and everything on it.

Our business is more than just doing business.
I started this business as a family business so that I could work on a remote farm in Caletu in the Bay of Islands.

Creating lifestyle and employment opportunities is important to us. For this reason, most of our products are produced by hand.

Our honey is meticulously hand-labeled, individually inspected and hand-packaged.

The result is a better, more personalized product.

Commitment to the product
TORU is made at Kalehanee, a family-owned business in the Bay of Islands on New Zealand's North Island. In order to produce the highest quality honey in a small facility on their farm, they work closely with individual beekeepers in the area to produce the highest quality honey in a small number of people.

Artisan honey is lovingly and carefully made, and because it is produced in small quantities, each batch has a subtle taste, color, and consistency. They are painstakingly hand-labeled and individually inspected for quality.

The TORU brand uses only single-source Manuka honey from the beautiful Northland region. This subtropical region is home to beautiful beaches, pristine virgin forests, and the world's largest kauri tree, Tane Mahuta, known as the god of forests.

This means that bees feed on Manuka nectar almost exclusively for a certain period of time, producing very pure and high-quality honey.

Manuka honey from Northland is truly special.
Its characteristic dark caramel color, rich aroma, and robust taste set it apart from Manuka honey from other regions.

That's why so many customers keep coming back for more.
We aim to source at least 98% of our honey from Northland hives.
Northland Manuka is the first New Zealand Manuka to bloom each year and benefits from a warm, mild semi-tropical climate.

The TORU series is currently available in New Zealand and Japan. Considering the consideration of the environment and the preservation of the quality of Manuka honey, we use stylish bottled bottles.

Who are supporting us?

[For those who want the real thing]

There are only two rating systems recognized by the New Zealand government: UMF and methylglyoxal. (MG or MGO)
As a result, we have gained immense trust from those who seek the "real thing".

[For physical condition management]

It is widely known as "food" in Japan, but in New Zealand it has been used for many purposes since the time of the indigenous Maori. Traditionally, it has been used to care for wounds and burns, and its hygienic properties have been greatly appreciated. In addition, it was used to support throat discomfort and digestion.

It can be used in a wide variety of ways, such as adding a spoonful of Manuka honey to tea as a daily care routine, or using it to moisturize the skin and care for problems.
From children to adults, take care of your family with TORU Manuka honey for their health.
