The bowl, which is decorated with hand-painted mountain water and lattice patterns on black soil, has a calm atmosphere that is typical of the "Tengu Kiln" in Dachi Town. Although it is small, it is a versatile vessel for everyday use. The brush eyes that are slightly drawn on the black clay fabric enhance the dish.
■Tengu Kiln / Dachi, Toki City
Founded in the mid-Taisho period
A long-established kiln that follows the flow of the Kato family, a potter who lives across from Seto to Dachicho. By combining potter's wheels, casting molding, and hand-painted craftsmanship, we continue to create vessels with a new taste.
