The rayon used for the ONGAESHI bandana is made from origami cranes sent from Nagasaki and Okinawa, in addition to the origami cranes donated to the "Statue of the Children of the Atomic Bomb" in Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.
The origami crane is pulped, made into fibers using a special technology, and then blended with cotton to finish the yarn, and one yarn is used for every three weft threads.
The word "PEACE" drawn in flower letters was designed by artist Mr./Ms. yutaokuda.
