The small round window is filled with handiwork of craftsmen who are hand-painted and dyed with dami. Takadai don is a shape that was once only used by people of high status, and it is a bowl that inherits the traditional form of Japan to the present day. It is served elegantly such as salmon roe rice bowl and seafood bowl.
■ Haruyama Ceramics / Toki City Dachi
Founded in Showa 33. In Dachi Town, the largest producer of donburi in Japan, Haruyama Pottery continues to be particular about donburi with lids. The colorful traditional pattern "Nishiki" such as red, blue, green, and gold is gorgeous and auspicious, and is familiar in restaurants. While preserving tradition, we continue to explore bowls with lids that are suitable for modern life.
